Alkhateeb F., Al Maghayreh E., Abu Doush I. (eds.) Multi-Agent Systems - Modeling, Control, Programming, Simulations and Applications
Издательство InTech, 2011, -532 pp.

A multi-agent system (MAS) is a system composed of multiple interacting intelligent agents. Multi-agent systems can be used to solve problems which are diffi cult or impossible for an individual agent or monolithic system to solve. Agent systems are open and extensible systems that allow for the deployment of autonomous and proactive soft ware components. Multi-agent systems have been brought up and used in several application domains. This book is a collection 24 excellent works on multi-agent systems divided into four sections: Multi-Agent Systems Modeling; Control, Negotiation, Reasoning, Tracking and Networking on Agents Environments; Multi-Agent Systems Programming and Multi-Agent Systems Simulation and Applications.

Издательство InTech, 2009, -434 pp. Multi agent systems involve a team of agents working together socially to accomplish a task. An agent can be social in many ways. One is when an agent helps others in solving complex problems. The field of multi agent systems investigates the process underlying distributed problem solving and designs some protocols and mechanisms involved in this process. This book presents an overview about some of the resea...

Издательство Springer, 2009, -270 pp. The complexity of current software-based systems has led the software engineering community to look for inspiration in diverse related fields (e.g., robotics and control theory) as well as other areas (e.g., biology) to find innovative approaches for building, running, and managing software systems and services. Therefore, self-adaptation – systems that are able to adjust their behavior at run-time in respon...

Издательство IGI Global, 2009, -1100 pp. Well… today Web is about communication, about meanings, about socialization, let’s say, about semantics, and not mere computer connections and in its previous generation. Almost everything turns around Web and of what relates with Web: we are meaning the development of applications, business processes, governmental initiatives, research, defense, terrorism, and an interminable set of subjects. And this is...

Springer, 2010. - 224 p. Multi-agent systems are claimed to be especially suited to the development of software systems that are decentralized, can deal flexibly with dynamic conditions, and are open to system components that come and go. This is why they are used in domains such as manufacturing control, automated vehicles, and e-commerce markets. Danny Weyns' book is organized according to the postulate that "developing multi-agent systems is...
