Choo V.K.S. Fundamentals of composite materials
Knowen, 1990 313p.
This book has been arranged consistently to present the mechanics
of composite materials using Cartesian tensors as a shorthand. It introduces
students to the fundamental concepts of the mechanical behavior of composite
materials. In addition, it provides a solid foundation for further study and re-
research. This book is based on a one-semester graduate course that I give. It
is intented as a graduate level textbook. However, it may be used by students,
researchers and practicing engineers for reference.

Springer-Verlag Berlin, 1997, 389 pages In view of the growing importance of product liability and the demand for fulfillment of extreme specifications for new products, this book provides the basic tools for establishing model equations in structural mechanics. Additionally, it illustrates the transition and interrelation between structural mechanics and structural optimization. Nowadays, this new direction is extremely important for more effi...

Theory and Application Springer, 2006. 600p The monograph is concerned not only with the foundation and formulation of modern linear and nonlinear theories of composite thin-walled beams developed by the authors with their collaborators, but also provides powerful mathematical tools to address issues of free vibration, dynamic response to external excitation, stability and control of gyroscopic and aeroelastic systems. Special care was exerc...

Springer, 2004 - 730 p. Tenenbaum's DYNAMICS covers the full range of topics included in a complete basic course designed for undergraduate students in engineering. Requiring no more than a basic course in calculus, the text employs an intuitive approach, from the point of view of Newtonian mechanics, that avoids the complications of Hamiltonian and Lagrangian formalism. The balance between analysis and practical examples also avoids the tendenc...
