Milchev A. Electrocrystallization. Fundamentals of Nucleation and Growth
Kluwer. 2002. 280 p.

Electrocrystallization is a particular case of a first order phase transition and Electrocrystallization is a particular case of electrochemical kinetics are two statements that I have heard and read many times. I do not like them for a simple reason: it is annoying to see that the subject to which you have devoted more than 30 years of your life may be considered as a particular case. Therefore, I decided to write this book in which Electrocrystallization is the main subject.
To become competent in the field of Electrocrystallization one should possess knowledge of Electrochemistry, Nucleation and Crystal Growth, which means knowledge of Physical Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
That is certainly difficult and in most cases those who study Electrocrystallization are either more electrochemists, or more physical chemists, or more physicists, very often depending on whom has been their teacher. Of course, there are scientists who consider themselves equally good in all those fields. Very frequently they are, unfortunately, equally bad.
The difference is essential but strange enough, it is sometimes not easy to realize the truth immediately.

Kluwer Academic Publishers, New York, Boston, Dordrecht, London, Moscow, 2002, - 1534 P. Volume 2A consists of Chapters 6 through 9 and covers the fundamentals of electrodics. Chapters 10 through 15, which make up Vol. 2B, discuss electrodics in chemistry, engineering, biology, and environmental science. It would be a misapprehension to think of these chapters as being applied electrochemistry, for the considerations are not at all technological...

White R.E., Bockris J.O'M., Conway B.E. (eds.). Plenum Press. 1986. 374 p. This volume of Modem Aspects of Electrochemistry contains six chapters. The first four chapters are about phenomena of interest at the microscopic level and the last two are on phenomena at the macroscopic level. In the first chapter, Uosaki and Kita review various theoretical models that have been presented to describe the phenomena that occur at an electrolyte/semicondu...

Elsevier, 2007 The Handbook of Electrochemistry is divided into five parts: Fundamentals (Chapter 1), Laboratory Practical (Chapters 2–10), Techniques (Chapters 11–14), Applications (Chapters 15–17), and Data (Chapters 18–20). Chapter 1 covers the fundamentals of electrochemistry that are essential for everyone working in this field and sets the stage for the following 19 chapters. Thus, Chapter 1 presents an overview of electrochemical conventio...
