appearance as rejection becomes more marked. The response to treatment is a
fall in the perfusion index towards 100%.
(c) Cyclosporin toxicity
This is associated with moderate early perfusion, a rising perfusion index
and impairment of renal function. It may occur even if serum Cyclosporin
levels are satisfactory. It is difficult to distinguish from rejection.
