This report by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers assesses three possible geoengineering approaches and outlines a roadmap where mitigation, adaptation and geoengineering all play their part in helping us avoid the consequences of dangerous climate change. Published August 2009.

This report is therefore offered as a clarifi cation of the scientifi c and technical aspects of geoengineering, and as a contribution to debates on climate policy.
