Термины и определения. Настоящий стандарт устанавливает требования
к системе управления охраной труда с целью предоставления
организации возможности контролировать свои риски в области охраны
труда и улучшать свою эффективность. Стандарт не устанавливает
определенные критерии функционирования системы управления охраной
труда, а также не содержит детальных указаний по ее проектированию.
