The book contains words, phrases and grammar pattes most frequently misused by Russian students of English and causing persistent mistakes. Most of the mistakes are due to the indiscriminate use of English words by analogy with Russian pattes or English models the students leat earlier. The models in the book are intended for a review and are supposed to have been given a thorough study previously. It is advisable that words and phrases liable to be misused should be systematically included in tests and should be constantly reviewed in class.
