This is the recommended course book for foreign visiting students
who take selective Chinese course, and has received warm welcome
from students in Beijing Language and Culture University. It
includes a lot of technical words and articles, which is also the
primary choice of preparatory majors in science. Exercises and
answer keys of 350 synonyms taken from the reading passages are
provided. Science reading has always been an important part of HSK
reading test (Elementary-Intermediate), so this book is also the
ideal reference for preparing the HSK reading comprehension. It
includes two volumes, each of which contains 14 lessons. Each
lesson contains sections such as general reading, fast reading and
daily life notes, supplemented with an abundance of exercises. CD
recordings are provided for texts and new words in the general

5.快速阅读：每课通读课文后都有一篇快速阅读课文，使相关的内容在不同语境里出现，使重点词语得到多次重现，以便加深学生的理解程度。
6.小常识：通过介绍一些生活保健知识或科技知识等，提高学生的学习兴趣，扩展学生对相关话题的知识面。
