Quiggin John. Theory of anticipated utility
A new theory of cardinal utility, with an associated set of axioms, is presented. It is a generalization of the von Neumann-Morgenste expected utility theory, which permits the analysis of phenomena associated with the distortion of subjective probability.

North-Holland, 1992. - 760 Pages. This is the first volume of the Handbook of Game Theory with Economic Applications, to be followed by two additional volumes. Game Theory has developed greatly in the last decade, and today it is an essential tool in much of economic theory. The three volumes will cover the fundamental theoretical aspects, a wide range of applications to economics, several chapters on applications to political science, and indiv...

Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, 1999, -536 pp. This is the revised second edition of our 1982 book with the same title, which presents a rather comprehensive treatment of static and dynamic noncooperative game theory, with emphasis placed (as in the first and second editions) on the interplay between dynamic information patterns and the structural properties of several different types of equilibria. Whereas the second edition (19...

Oxford University Press, 2000. - 336 Pages. Game theory has revolutionized the study of animal behavior. The fundamental principle of evolutionary game theory - that the strategy adopted by one individual depends on the strategies exhibited by others - has proven a powerful tool in uncovering the forces shaping otherwise mysterious behaviors. In this volume, the first since 1982 devoted to evolutionary game theory, leading researchers describe a...

Princeton University. - June 2003 Abstract Article: We analyze decision-makers who make stochastic choices from sets of lotteries. A random choice rule associates with each decision problem a probability measure over the feasible choices. A random utility is a probability measure over von Neumann-Morgenstern utility functions. We show that a random choice rule maximizes some random utility if and only if it is mixture continuous, monotone (the pr...

Edward Elgar Pub, 2009. - 262 pages. Game theory is useful in understanding collective human activity as the outcome of interactive decisions. In recent years it has become a more prominent aspect of research and applications in public policy disciplines such as economics, philosophy, management and political science, and in work within public policy itself. Here Roger McCain makes use of the analytical tools of game theory with the pragmatic pu...

Издательство Cambridge University Press, 2007, -775 pp. As the Second World War was coming to its end, John von Neumann, arguably the foremost mathematician of that time, was busy initiating two intellectual currents that would shape the rest of the twentieth century: game theory and algorithms. In 1944 (16 years after the minmax theorem) he published, with Oscar Morgenstern, his Games and Economic Behavior, thus founding not only game theory bu...
